This package is a Web application development MVC Framework.

It provides core classes for implement base model-view-controller functionality like a base controller class, action router class, model class, view renderer class, and a database access abstraction class.

The package also provides generic classes that provide functionality usually needed in Web applications like handling and filter request parameters, generate and assemble HTML page parts, handling sessions, managing configuration, generate debug information, authenticate users, send e-mail, etc..
